Boat tour to the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers with a short hike (with 21 de Mayo  boat). The check-in  time at the boat is at 7:00 in the morning. Where you will take a bus transfer to the private wharf where the boat will depart. We start sailing at 07:30 am from EPA pier heading towards Bernardo O’Higgins National Park through Señoret Channel. During the crossing, we can observe Mount Balmaceda, where the glaciers we are visiting are located.
Our first point of interest that we will be observing from the boat will be the Frigorifico Bories National Historic Monument, which was founded in 1913 by the Tierra del Fuego Exploratory Society, which has for more than 60 years been the most important fishery in the region. Standing out are its masonry constructions, and English Style Post Victorian industrial architecture. On our way, while we are sailing towards our destination, we will visit the cliffs and Condores waterfalls. The trip resumes to Mount Balmaceda, 2,035 meters in height, where we will be able to appreciate the glacier of the same name. Then we will disembark in Puerto Toro to begin a walk, on the banks of the Tempano Lagoon, through a native deciduous forest of coigües, ñirres and ciruelillos, towards the Serrano glacier. Here we will take in and appreciate the vegetation and the contrast between the sky and the sea ice, accompanied by the imposing Serrano glacier. On the way back from the walk, we will embark once again, and enjoy awell-deserved appetizer with glacial ice.
After witnessing a unique landscape, that is wild and virgin, we return to enjoy a savory roasted lamb, in the Magellanes REgion of Chile style, at the Estancia Perales. There are alternatives, such as chicken, vegetarian or fish, which must be requested prior to sailing.
Our services end at approximately 5:00 pm.  Where the bus will bring you back to the center of town of Puerto Natales  and you walk back to your hotel.
